P.A.C.E RUN CLUB
January 7 to May 4, 2026
Offering professional coaching and clinics since 2005.

Enhance your fitness and performance and join the P.A.C.E. Run Club in the new year!

  • Structured In-Person Workouts: Wednesday speed session & Sunday long run.
  • Technique Workshops: downhill, uphill and how to use your poles. 
  • ​Training Programs: All participants receive a 16 week training plan catered to their goals.
  • ​Expert Guidance: Guidance from Head Coach Rene Unser and our Clinic Leadership team.
  • Weekly training tips, motivation and workout details sent via Youtube or the Heylo App. 
  • Variety of socials throughout the clinic. ​

​Wednesday 6pm sessions
 break the workouts down into 25k & 50k training options, although Coach Rene works very closely with her athletes as the clinic unfolds. Athletes can expect intervals, fartleks, time trials, terrain management, tempo training, vertical challenges and more. 

Sunday 8am (7am in spring) workouts focus on maintaining that all important endurance base with leader lead long runs, enduro style races and vertical challenges.
25km - 3.5 hrs by the end of the clinic.
25km - 5.5 hrs by the end of the clinic.

Requirement to Join
25km - 2 hr long run. Running minimum 3x's per week.
50km - 3 hr long run. Running minimum 3x's per week.

Meet the Coach

Rene Unser has been coaching athletes for over 20 years and works with athletes of all levels, from all over the world. 

Prior to coaching, Rene had a successful career in the fitness industry for over 22yrs and motivating others to reach their goals is something that has always come naturally to her.

Rene is an athlete on the Salomon Team and has always been active. She didn't waste any time jumping into endurance sports. Her first triathlon was the Oliver Half Ironman, first trail running race was a 5 day stage race in Thailand and her first mountain bike event was an 8 day stage race called the BC Bike race. Rene shares a passion for stage racing and has participated in over 20 multi day stage events since 2010, recently finishing 2nd overall in the women's team master category in the 2025 Transalpine Run, a 7 day stage race across the alps.
